Sapporo’s newcomer Tatsuru Sakuma releases his second single “Minamoto” and music video

Tatsuru Sakuma released his new single “Minamoto” today, Friday, June 28th. The music video was also released.

Tatsuru Sakuma is a rising artist based in Sapporo, Hokkaido. After providing beats for a friend’s video work, he started making music in earnest, and released his first single “After Hood” on Friday, June 7th.

This is his second single, and the second pre-release single from his first EP, which is scheduled to be released on Friday, July 26th. It is a song that expresses his universal feelings, centered on his identity formed in Asahikawa, where he was born and raised, and Sapporo, where he is currently based. This time, he handled everything from the beats to the mix and mastering himself.

As with the previous work, Shohei Uda was in charge of direction, filming, editing, etc. for the artwork and music video. Styling was done by Tatsuru Sakuma himself.
