Ålborg releases title track “The Way I See You” from their first album

The title track “The Way I See You” from Ålborg’s first album “The Way I See You” will be released on Wednesday, July 17th.

Ålborg is a five-member band formed in Yokohama in 2022. With an arrangement of trombone, flute, steel guitar, and other instruments, the band has attracted attention for their profound songs with a chamber feel and their unique popness. Since last year, they have released albums under Kakubarizm, and also performed at “ROOKIE A GO-GO” at “FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’23”.

The title song “The Way I See You” is a song that develops an emotional sound that builds up towards the end, with a relaxed yet comfortable rhythm that makes you feel like the moon and stars are shining. A comment has also arrived from Miya (Gt., Vo.), who wrote the song’s lyrics and composed it.

This song grew out of the phrase in the chorus, “I wish you could see you the way I see you.” It feels like a song about “I” gazing at “you” while gazing at myself.

The album includes the singles “Window” and “Blend” released this year, as well as re-recorded versions of the band’s representative songs “Girl” and “Stray Cat” as “Alternative Versions”. It is said that the album is filled with the band’s charm and ideas that are unique to their first album. The artwork was also released to coincide with this announcement.
