JIANG SHIDAO × aura yamato release collaborative EP "SHEER"

JIANG SHIDAO and aura yamato’s collaborative EP “SHEER” was released today, Wednesday, July 3rd.

JIANG SHIDAO (ex. teitaraku), known for his work in DENYEN City, and aura yamato, a producer/SSW from Akita Prefecture who lives in Tokyo. This collaborative work by the two includes four songs, including the pre-release single “1000hz,” which features Morito Asai, who worked with JIANG SHIDAO in DENYEN City. The busyness and dullness that are inseparable from living in the city of Tokyo, and the dawn-like light and hope that you feel beyond them – since they met in the late summer of 2023, they have extracted feelings from the events and conversations that happened around them, and used motifs such as movies, love, and the sky to depict the work.

All tracks on the album are self-produced by Aura Yamato. While maintaining the strength of dance music, the album has a clear and fresh feel that is characteristic of her music. The production was completed at Aura Yamato’s home studio in Setagaya, Tokyo.

In addition, a release party for this work will be held at BATICA in Ebisu, Tokyo on Monday, July 15. Live acts will include Asai Morito, who also appeared on the pre-release single “1000hz,” SANO, who is also active in KEYTOTHECITY, as well as seven other artists, including Aki, izolma, Yameta, Ash Won, and Awesome Brothers.
