Naive Super releases new song “More Than Meets The Eye” incorporating 2-step rhythm

Naive Super released their new single “More Than Meets The Eye” today, Wednesday July 3rd.

Naive Super is a homemade synth pop project by Yushi Ibuki, who works as a synth/keyboard player. This is the first release of 2024, a synth pop number with a simple arrangement that incorporates 2-step rhythms while retaining a moderate weight. The title and lyrics were inspired by the American animation “Transformers,” which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and was influenced by Yushi Ibuki’s childhood. The vocals are provided by Emily Obaidey, formerly of Luby Sparks.
