The music festival where you can enjoy live artist performances and a hot spring trip, “Onsen Onraku 2024 Winter Shinshu Nagano Shibu Onsen Kanaguya” will be held on December 14th (Sat) and 15th (Sun) at the Kanaguya Inn in Shibu Onsen, Shinshu Nagano.
This event will be held for the 16th time since its first event in 2009. The event venue is the Kanaguya Inn, which is a registered tangible cultural property and is over 80 years old. The main live venue will be the large tatami hall, Hiten-no-ma, which boasts an area of 167 tatami mats. This music festival is held in a historic wooden inn, where you can dance your shoulders in the tatami room or enjoy a leisurely meal.
Along with the announcement of the event, the first lineup was announced, with six live acts, Summer Eye, showmore, CHO CO PA CO CHO CO QUIN QUIN, Nagakumo, Yutai Communications, and Naturally Dub Gusghing, and the appearance of the J-POP/pop DJ team Yukemuri DJs in the Keiun Room on the sixth floor. More announcements are planned in the future.
Please note that you will need to make a separate reservation for accommodation when purchasing tickets. A “Kanaguya Accommodation Plan” that allows you to stay at Kanaguya, the venue, will also go on sale at a later date. Guests staying at Kanaguya will be able to bathe in the hot springs inside the building. In addition, those staying at the inn facilities in Shibu Onsenkyo can also enjoy the “Shibu Onsen Outdoor Bath Tour,” which takes you around nine hot springs. Staying at a hot spring inn and relaxing in your room while enjoying the festival is another way to enjoy Onsen Onraku.
