John Carroll Kirby’s Japan tour will be held at WWW X in Shibuya, Tokyo on Friday, October 11th.
John Carroll Kirby is a musician who has attracted attention as a collaborator of Solange and Frank Ocean, released many solo works, and is loved by music fans and musicians from all over the world. This year, he supported Khruangbin’s tour in the US, demonstrating his live performance skills. He also participated in a tribute project for Haruomi Hosono and made a buzz with the release of a music video filmed in the streets of Koenji, showing his interactions with the Japanese scene. He has decided to perform in Japan for the first time since his appearance at Fuji Rock last year. Just before the already announced appearance at “Asagiri JAM 2024,” he will perform his first solo performance with a full band set at WWW X.
