18scott, a rapper from Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, released his new album “Rise And Fall Like Tides” today, April 24th (Wednesday). At the same time, the music video for the song “Fallin'” was released.
This work includes a total of 10 songs that compare one’s own mental ups and downs to the ebb and flow of the tide, expressing various emotions that go back and forth between the “highest” and the “lowest.” Guest appearances include G YARD from Sound’s Deli, who co-starred in the previous work, and up-and-coming singer Kouichi Arakawa, as well as his ally NF Zessho, BANNY BUGS from the Fukuoka-based collective CCS records, and Highcutieeee, an up-and-coming singer active mainly in Nagoya. is participating.
Mixing/mastering was handled by Jelly One, as was the case with the previous work. The artwork is by Kippei, who is also responsible for works by NF Zesshn and others.
The music video for “Fallin'” was released, and it can be said to be the title song of the album, which sings about his determination to face and accept his unstable mental health and live with it over an emotional drill beat. Video direction is handled by Shuto Yasuda, an up-and-coming video director who also worked on the music video for the lead single song “New Balance” released prior to the album.
