Otomodatchi has announced that his 2nd EP “Hold On” will be released on Wednesday, May 15th. In addition, the lead single “Reckless” was released today, April 24th (Wednesday).
Otomodatchi is a duo based in London and LA, consisting of Amiide and Jyodan, also known as former members of CIRRRCLE. Since 2023, he has been constantly releasing songs centered on R&B and hip-hop, and has been attracting attention. He has also participated in mabanua’s song “On Everything” released in February, and has been in charge of rapping and vocals for povo’s TV commercial. We are expanding our activities.
The EP “Hold On” contains 6 songs including “Doin It Well” produced by Chocoholic and “Sayin’ No” featuring Kenzo Martini. The lead single “Reckless” has a summery sound that is perfect for the upcoming warmer months, and was produced and mixed by Amiide, the same as “Sayin’ No”. The lyrics are based on the theme of impulsive love tactics.

When I wrote Reckless, the lyrics came out easily, so I had a lot of fun recording it. Unlike my other songs, this song depicts my impulsive side. I have a bad habit of not thinking about things too much and just taking action just because it’s fun, which can sometimes lead to bad things. There are good times though. Anyway, Reckless is about me and the girl I like living our best lives!
