RUNG HYANG’s new EP “CLASSIC” to be released in May, with special band formation Lilipa

It has been announced that RUNG HYANG will release a new EP “CLASSIC” containing 4 songs on Wednesday, May 8th.

In addition to being known for his collaborations with TENDRE, SIRUP, Taichi Mukai, and claquepot, SSW RUNG HYANG has produced notable artists such as Eito, eill, YAMORI, Chinatsu Matsumoto, and bane through his private school, “Run Hyang Seminar.” In addition to successfully holding one-man live shows in Tokyo and Osaka this year, they are also planning to release their popular song “Trapped” in June, which includes a new remix by Kan Sano.

This work is based on piano playing and singing, which is the root of his musical activities. It is said that this is a “CLASSIC” work that returns to SSW’s roots, based on the strong R&B style with beats and grooves of the past few years.

The first song, “Trip,” is a self-produced song that expresses the idea that “you don’t need a reason to travel, just go where you want to go.” The second song “RELIFE” is set on the beat of co-arranger Shingo.S and the bass of Junichi Sunayama, and sings a message that is close to the worries of listeners sent in on block.fm’s regular program “Runko’s Room”. Up number. The third song, “Love Me,” is a love ballad that talks about love for a loved one, while hinting at the danger of losing balance due to the strength of that feeling. The final song, “Gradation,” was released on April 10th (Wednesday), and is a warm song that praises the beauty of how a couple builds up their lives by likening it to a “vague but certain gradation.” It is a love song.

To commemorate the release of the new EP “CLASSIC” and the 7-inch release of the popular song “Trapped”, a release party “CLASSIC” SPECIAL EDITION will be held on June 29th (Saturday) at BAROOM in Minami Aoyama, Tokyo. In addition to the RUNG HYANG with special band stage, the opening act will be Chinatsu Matsumoto, who is close friends with RUNG HYANG. After the concert, an afterparty will be held at the music bar at the same venue.
