Kamui released his new single “Run Now” today, July 16th (Tuesday). The music video was also released.
This song was written by Kamui after he was not selected for ABEMA’s “Rap Star 2024,” and contains a positive message of always moving forward toward the future. The guest appearance features 17-year-old up-and-coming artist sweety, who made waves with the smash hit “junkie” and appeared at the hip-hop festival “POP YOURS.” It’s a fast-paced work that is likely to become this summer’s anthem.
The music video was produced by Kamui himself, as was “Salvage” and “MY WAY”. The music video was directed by video director Kojima Yudai. The video vividly depicts the daily lives of Kamui and sweety, creating a unique atmosphere for the two of them, who met through music despite their different ages and lifestyles.
