Synju, 1st album "pearls" by gato's age released today. MV for the track "Houdou" released.

synju released his first album, “pearls,” today, Wednesday, July 17th.

synju is a solo project by age, a singer-songwriter, producer and DJ who is also known as the frontman of gato, which disbanded last August. This album contains 12 songs, including previously released songs. The unique ensemble and track-making of the synthesizer sound are combined with the organic atmosphere of the band sound to create a work that expresses a stronger identity. 12 pearls full of individuality are strung together to form synju.

Additionally, the track “Ibasho” more clearly shows the concept of community building and their position as artists, in collaboration with a team that is active not only in the music industry but also in fields such as video, design, DJing, and media.

Along with the release of the album, the music video for the track “Houtou” was also released. The director is ITARU SAWADA, a close friend of gato who has worked with many hip-hop artists such as Bonbero and SILENT KILLA JOINT, and KIEN, who appeared in the movie “i ai” and is also active as a model for fashion brands, participated in the video.

In addition, a release party for this album will be held at Shimokitazawa LIVE HAUS in Tokyo on Friday, August 2nd. SSW Junya Narita will perform with a band set as the opening act.
