Yuuga released her new single “Don’t Remember Me” today, Wednesday, July 17th.
This is the second consecutive new song to be released following “Sunset”. It was also performed at the two-man concert “In Other Words” with Orisaka Yuta, held at WWW X in Shibuya, Tokyo in June. Like “Sunset”, it was produced by Okada Takuro and recorded with the Magic Band. The lyrics and music were written by Yuuga, and the arrangement was done by Okada Takuro. It is truly a new frontier for Yuuga. The visualizer created by VIDEOTAPEMUSIC is also available on YouTube, so be sure to check it out.
Yuuga will be releasing his fourth original album, Love Deluxe, on Wednesday, September 4th, his first in about two and a half years, and will also be holding a solo tour with a band in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka starting in the same month. Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, July 20th.

Even if you think about the awkward moments you had with someone, you can turn them into a laughing matter by sharing them with friends or people you know well, and even if it seems like a waste of time at first glance, it can become a topic of conversation with someone else. I wrote the lyrics while chuckling to myself as if I was telling the story to a friend.
As time goes by, I realize that it would be a waste to hide those past dates in the depths of my heart, wondering what they were all about.
Thanks to Okada’s excellent arrangement and the band’s performance, we have created an amazing song that is very cool but also kind of funny.
