ONJUICY and Australian-based singer AKOSIA release collaborative song “Shimokitazawa”

“Shimokitazawa,” a collaborative song by rapper ONJUICY and Australian-based singer AKOSIA, was released today, Wednesday, July 17th.

ONJUICY is a rapper who focuses on the latest dance music, and recently released the EP “TYO LDN BROS” with Roska, a leading figure in UK funky, as well as his collaboration with Guchon, who is also a member of the sound unit Kokushi Musou.

AKOSIA, the collaborator on this work, is active in many fields, including as a singer, model, and actor, and also appears in the Marvel movie “Thor: Love and Thunder.”

This work, released by TREKKIE TRAX, was created with the theme of “Shimokitazawa,” where AKOSIA performed a studio session together when he visited Japan in 2023. It is a fast-paced garage/2-step song that depicts the human drama of hanging out in Tokyo, and was produced by nonomi, a Peruvian producer living in Japan who has provided numerous songs to ONJUICY. The single also includes a floor banger remix by Carpainter, who has collaborated with ONJUICY on numerous songs as an ally of ONJUICY.
