MNNK Bro., a unique unit formed by Takashi Murakami and JP THE WAVY, will hold a club event in Kyoto

MNNK Bro. (Takashi Murakami & JP THE WAVY), a unique collaborative unit formed by contemporary artist Takashi Murakami and rapper JP THE WAVY, will be holding their first club event, “Mononoke Night -Kyoto Edition-,” at WORLD KYOTO in Kyoto on Friday, August 23rd to commemorate the release of their first single, “Mononoke Kyoto.”

The first single, “Mononoke Kyoto,” is the theme song for the solo exhibition “Takashi Murakami Mononoke Kyoto,” which is currently being held in Kyoto. This event, which will be held in Kyoto, where the solo exhibition is being held, will feature not only MNNK Bro., but also rapper Issei Uno Fifth, a lineup of impressive DJs such as DJ YUTO, KESSO, KM, and U-LEE, as well as a special guest who is close friends with JP THE WAVY.

Advance tickets went on sale today, July 18th (Thursday). In addition to the regular advance tickets, tickets that come with an original event T-shirt featuring characters designed by Murakami Takashi are also on sale for a limited time until July 31st (Wednesday).
