ZENDAMAN presents “Rokkon Reggae Festival” second announcement, including Master Rokkon, PUSHIM, RudeBwoy Face, and more

The second lineup for “ZENDAMAN Presents Roccon Reggae Festival,” which will be held at Yokohama Bay Hall in Kanagawa on Sunday, September 1st, has been announced.

Master Lokkon aka Algebra, the famous character who has been a hot topic on ZENDAMAN’s YouTube channel “Zenda Mi Zenda,” where he records his life in Jamaica and broadcasts it from there, has finally decided to come to Japan. Other performers include three of the most important Japanese reggae artists from the scene-leading label Magnum Records: PUSHIM, RudeBwoy Face, and RUEED. In addition, SOMAJI, who participated in ZENDAMAN’s latest album “Neo Tokiwa,” U the Starr, ZENDAMAN’s ally and singer from Aichi Prefecture, Minato, and Ringo from DUNNS RIVER, who is also known for participating in Dengaryu’s songs from MEDZ MUSIC, will be gathering at the Lokkon Reggae Festival, a cross-generational lineup of players from the scene’s heavyweights to up-and-coming artists.

The first wave of artists include ZENDAMAN, ASOUND, who is currently in high demand at festivals and is about to release a new album, VIGORMAN from Hentai Shinshi Club, who released their third album “DANCE” in April, reggae DJ 775 from Kishiwada City, Osaka Prefecture, Ten’s Unique, also from Kishiwada City, and Jr. Santa, who made his presence known at “Neo Tokiwa”. In addition, Jamaican radio station Zip FM’s flagship DJ ZJ LIQUID will be visiting Japan, and 10 other artists who have made their mark outside of Japan and are active around the world, including Badgyal Marie, JAH WORKs, and FUJIYAMA, have been announced.

Tickets are currently on sale. General sales will begin at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 6th. There are further announcements to be made, so please look forward to them.

Last summer, the legendary Yokohama Reggae Festival came to an end with the hiatus of Mighty Crown’s sound. However, there were young people who didn’t want the festival and reggae to end.

The Roccon Reggae Festival is a next-generation reggae festival that heralds a new beginning.

Many people feel that a new reggae legend will be born from this. Young original reggae artists and Master Roccon, a man who gained fame in Japan through the YouTube program Zendami Zend, will bring the beginning of a new era to Japan at the end of this summer.
