It has been announced that South London-born singer-songwriter Samm Henshaw will be performing in Japan in November.
Samm Henshaw, known as a leader of the modern soul music scene, grew up surrounded by gospel music and learned to play instruments, and started producing music at the age of 15. He majored in popular music at university, and then signed with Columbia Records in 2015, making his debut with the EP “The Sound Experiment” in September of the same year. He was also recognized for his talent by Pharrell Williams, and became known to the public when he toured with Chance The Rapper.
In 2022, they released their long-awaited first album, “Untidy Soul,” and realized their Japan tour, which had been postponed many times. They also appeared at the urban festival “CIRCUS × CIRCUS” held in Osaka, which attracted a lot of attention.
The Japan tour will take place at Osaka BIGCAT on Wednesday, November 6th, and at Ebisu The Garden Hall in Tokyo on Friday, November 8th. Tickets are available for pre-sale at play guides (first come, first served) from noon today.
