Mina Okabe sings in Haagen-Dazs’ new TV commercial “SPOTLIGHT” starring Nana Komatsu

Mina Okabe will be singing in the new Häagen-Dazs TV commercial “SPOTLIGHT,” which will begin airing on Tuesday, July 23rd. The video was released in advance on the Häagen-Dazs official website and YouTube channel starting today.

Mina Okabe is a singer-songwriter with Japanese roots who is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. She has been in the spotlight for her work on the ending theme for the TBS anime “Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai.” She will also be appearing at “SUMMER SONIC 2024” to be held in Tokyo and Osaka on August 17th (Sat) and 18th (Sun) this summer, and will hold her first solo showcase live in Japan at SPACE ODD in Daikanyama, Tokyo on August 19th (Mon).

Model/actress Nana Komatsu stars in the new TV commercial “SPOTLIGHT.” The video depicts a fantastical worldview of relaxing in a room at night and enjoying a “blissful immersive time” filled with Haagen-Dazs, with Mina Okabe singing an original song for the commercial that references the melody of “Canon,” a beloved masterpiece by German composer Johann Pachelbel. Her pleasant, clear singing voice adds even more color to the blissful moment of sipping Haagen-Dazs.
