The event “ALFA NIGHT TOKYO vol.1” to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the founding of ALFA MUSIC will be held on Tuesday, July 23rd at the Vektor shop® in Yoyogi, Tokyo.
Founded in 1969 as a music publisher, ALFA MUSIC has produced many artists, including Yumi Arai, YMO, Minako Yoshida, Tadashi Kosaka, Garo, and Hi-Fi Set, and has created some of the greatest hits in Japanese music history. It built the foundation for modern Japanese pop music and continues to lead the city pop boom.
ALFA MUSIC will celebrate its 55th anniversary this July, and will be relaunching as a record label to share its legacy with listeners around the world. The event to commemorate this will be the Japanese version of the DJ event “ALFA NIGHT” held in New York. Also on the same day, the vinyl and CD versions of RYUSENKEI’s “Illusion,” which will be released by ALFA MUSIC, will be on display and for sale, as well as second-hand copies previously released by ALFA MUSIC with the cooperation of ELLA RECORDS.
In addition, a limited edition collaboration T-shirt between ALFA MUSIC and Vektor shop® will be released. The event will celebrate the 55th anniversary of ALFA MUSIC and will include various content that will allow you to experience the world of ALFA MUSIC.
