MoMo’s 2nd EP “FlowinTokyo” released today, with AI recommendation comments

MoMo released her second EP, “FlowinTokyo,” today, Wednesday, July 24th.

MoMo learned gospel music at church in her childhood, and after graduating from high school, she moved to the United States alone. Since then, she has been active as an SSW, producing songs with overseas composers. In the past, she has also attracted attention for her collaborations with Chocoholic, Wez Atlas, AmPm, and others.

The lead song of this album, “FlowinTokyo,” was born from the suffering in Tokyo, the city where she grew up, and is filled with positive feelings for the future. It was co-written with Julian Le, a producer who works with global stars such as Jhené Aiko, and the lyrics express her heartfelt feelings for the first time, revealing her weaknesses. The album also features live trumpet by Scott Bell, a top American player, and the arrangement is also very detailed.

To coincide with the release of the EP, recommendation comments have also been received from MoMo herself and the singer’s AI.

[MoMo Comment]

This is a work in which the singer frankly sings about his anxieties about his career and life.

I was afraid to show my weak side in my work,

Producer Julian and guitarist Nozomi, who worked with me on this EP.

The three of them stayed in the snowy mountains and bonded over their shared hobby, snowboarding.

The production took place in Niigata, with half a day spent snowboarding and half a day spent making music.

During production, the other members encouraged me to “show your weaknesses”

A work that expresses my true self without hiding anything.

In contrast, the other songs on the album have a different tone, especially “The Weekend.”

I created a piece that makes you want to hum along as you drive through the city at night.
