Yuuta Orisaka releases music video for “Hachisu” from his 4th album “Jubun” directed by Masayuki Shiota and Daisuke Ukijita

The music video for “Hachisu” from Orisaka Yuta’s latest album “Jumon”, released in June, has been released.

“Hachisu” is a new song written by Orisaka for the production of this album. The music video was directed and produced by Masayuki Shiota and Daisuke Ukijita. The video features actual footage of Shinobazu Pond in Ueno and a CG version of the pond, intertwining the events that took place there.

Compared to the previous work “Shinri” which was produced during the COVID-19 pandemic and had an introspective concept, “Jun” is a work that ruminates on daily life with a breezy soundscape and looks at where we are now. The band members, consisting of senoo ricky (Ds.), Miyata Azumi (Cb.), and Yamauchi Kota (E.Gt.), are the main performers, and they also include yatchi (Pf.), Hara Natsuko (Sax.), Miyasaka Ryotaro (Per.), and Hatano Atsuko (Str.), who have worked together with Orisaka Yuta (Ensemble). Recording and mixing were handled by Oshiro Makoto, who has worked with Kakudo Mami, NRQ, Ikema Yuko, and Tenniscoats, and mastering was handled by Frederic Stader. In addition to “Hitohito”, the theme song for BS-TBS Thursday Drama 23 “Tengu no Daidokoro”, the album contains a total of nine songs, including songs that have been performed at live shows and festivals in the past and newly written songs.

In addition, to celebrate the release of the album, a hall tour called “Juumon Tour” will be held in September, visiting eight cities and nine performances nationwide. Tickets are now on sale.

[Comment from Yuta Orisaka]

A hot day. I went back and forth between the imaginary Shinobazu Pond and the real Shinobazu Pond. Shiota-san and Ukijita-san played a lot, like children wrapped up in curtains. I was also very happy. There is someone who is (was) breathing. There is someone watching it through the “expression”. By the evening, we had melted together, and I felt a little sad.
