Yuta Orisaka’s 4th album “Spell” will be released, tour also announced at the same time

It has been announced that Yuta Orisaka will release his new album “Shoujo” on June 26th (Wednesday).

Yuta Orisaka celebrated his 10th anniversary since he started performing live in June 2023. He toured the country with his 10th anniversary singing tour “Yuta Orisaka Rides His 2023,” which sold out all venues, and in October of the same year released his first collection of poems, “Yuta Orisaka (Songs) Lyrics Collection You Are Me. Published “Have I Ever Talked About It?”. And this year, they just toured 5 concerts in 4 cities across the country on their first tour as a band of 4 members, “Yuta Orisaka Tour 2024 Aizu”.

This is his fourth album, approximately 2 years and 8 months after his previous album “Psychology”, which was produced during the coronavirus pandemic. Compared to his previous work, which had an introspective concept, this work features an airy soundscape, ruminates on everyday life, and a certain perspective that seems to determine where we are now.

The album includes a total of 9 songs, including “Hitojin”, the theme song for BS-TBS Thursday drama 23 “Tengu’s Kitchen”, songs that have been performed at live performances and festivals, and newly written new songs. In terms of performance, the band members consist of senoo ricky (ds.), Azumi Miyata (cb.), Kota Yamauchi (e.g.t.), and yatchi (pf.), who has been active with Yuta Orisaka (enthusiast). Natsuko Hara (Sax.), Ryotaro Miyasaka (Performer), Atsuko Hatano (Str.) and others will participate. Recording and mixing were done by Makoto Oshiro, who has worked with Kakudo Mami, NRQ, Yuko Ikema, Tennis Courts, etc., and mastering was done by Frederic Stader.

In addition, in commemoration of the album release, it has been decided that a hall tour called “Curse Tour” will be held with 9 performances in 8 cities across the country. Official advance reservations for tickets have started from 21:00 today.
