Boris to hold US tour to perform all songs from 1st album released 25 years ago

It has been announced that Boris will hold a US tour in the fall of 2024, performing all songs from his 1st album “Amplifier Worship”. A new artist photo has been released along with a tour poster for the performance commemorating the 25th anniversary of the release of his first album “Amplifier Worship”.

Boris has consistently explored “heavy” since their formation in 1992, and has established a unique style of extremely downtuning and high volume. He has expanded his “heavy rock” by incorporating trance elements such as power violence, ambient, drone, and krautrock.

Their first album, released five years after their formation, was a blueprint for the future drawn by Boris at the time, and now, 25 years after its release, their sound has been unraveled in a new way. The performance of all songs of “Amplifier Worship” with “Drone Set specification + twin drum formation” will be a tour that will simultaneously show the starting point and the destination as the founder of Drone Metal. It has also been decided that Starcrawler will accompany them as direct support for the tour.

Boris recently completed an Australian tour with Kiyoharu, and it has also been announced that immediately after this US tour, he will join up with Kiyoharu again to hold a domestic tour .
