Upsilon will release their 2nd mini album. Live-action appearance revealed for the first time in 1st live preview video

It has been decided that Upsilon will release their second mini-album “Signifier” on June 19th.

This is a challenging work that focuses on the “signifier” of the “sound” and “meaning” that form words, and explores that aspect. He ponders the diverse meanings and expressive possibilities of words, and expresses them through music.

The song “Byakuya”, which will be distributed on May 1st, tells the story of finding the “words” to convey to someone important to you, accompanied by a light piano and guitar, sung as if reading a letter.

Upsilon said, “The story was inspired by Keigo Higashino’s novel “Byakuya Gyou” and depicts the main character who simply looks at the person he cares about and searches for the words he wants to convey.”

In addition, the first edition of this work includes a booklet with liner notes, and the first edition and regular edition include one random sticker (4 types in total) on a first-come, first-served basis. A release commemorative event will be held in Tokyo on July 6th.

Furthermore, Kuon Tama and SODA KIT, whose music was provided by Upsilon, will appear at the 1st live to be held at CreAto (Ebisu, Tokyo) on May 5th. A preview video showing Upsilon himself for the first time has also been released.
