MILKDOT is a Vocaloid producer/singer-songwriter who has gained popularity among Gen Z by posting Vocaloid songs and his own original songs on YouTube, Niconico Video, and TikTok.
Their debut EP “TEENAGE” attracted attention for the early impulse of MILKDOT, who was still a high school student at the time, their talented sense of melody, and their singing voice that mixed languidness and transience, and quickly gained popularity, especially among Gen Z. In particular, the song “Utsuyoubi” has more than 700 related videos on TikTok, and has been streamed more than 5 million times.
Then, just when people were expecting him to make further leaps forward, he suddenly passed away in April 2024.
The work, released today, is a digital EP containing 5 songs, including unreleased songs and unfinished demo tracks.

“demo_0415_2” is a one-chorus demo song that MILKDOT was creating just before his death.
Sadly, it remained unfinished, but it is a valuable song that gives us a glimpse of a new side of the band.
