SpecialThanks is a two-piece band consisting of Misaki on vocals/guitar and Takaaki Yoshida on drums/chorus.
Since its formation in 2005, Misaki’s vocals, which are both powerful and delicate, have continued to colorfully color the lives of many listeners, while centering on a punk rock sound.
In 2024, they will continue to perform at numerous outdoor festivals and live circuit events both domestically and internationally, and will continue to be active, and on October 23rd, they will announce the release of their first full-length album after the new system, “PUNK RECORDS”.
And today, without prior notice before the release of the full album, we started distributing the song “Earth Defense Force” in advance.
In addition, the MUSIC VIDEO of “Earth Defense Force” will be released on the official YouTube channel “Spectube by SpecialThanks” at 7pm today.
One and a half years have passed since the idea was conceived. The full album, which includes 13 songs that have been matured and carefully written, will be released simultaneously on CD and digitally.
