Universal Music LLC (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takashi Fujikura / hereinafter referred to as Universal Music) has announced the release of Mina Okabe’s new single “Every Second (Japanese Version)”. It will be released on Wednesday, March 3rd.
It won two categories at the 38th Japan Gold Disc Awards. Mina Okabe is a Copenhagen-based singer-songwriter with roots in Japan.
This work became a big hit on social media, with over 5 million Instagram reels using the song being created, and a total of over 10 billion views on Facebook/Instagram. “Every Second (Japanese version)” is the song “Every Second” sung in Japanese. It was also used as the ending theme song for the TBS TV anime “Hananoi-kun to Koi no Iyoshi”, which will begin broadcasting on April 4th.
The music video is made up of valuable footage of Mina’s behind-the-scenes recordings recorded when she visited Japan last year, as well as footage of her stay in Japan. The jacket photo uses visuals from the anime.
