■The second bonus track is SUPER EIGHT’s live staple “Cho Katsute ni Shiagare,” which was also performed on their first TV performance since changing their name!
SUPER EIGHT has announced details of the two bonus tracks that will be included on the regular edition of their 14th album, “SUPER EIGHT,” which will be released on July 31st.
The first bonus track will be “Omoidama Jam with Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra.”
The duo recently announced that they will be releasing “Ano Natsu no Aimai ME feat. SUPER EIGHT,” the second installment of Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra’s three-month consecutive release project “NO BORDER Trilogy,” digitally on August 8th, with SUPER EIGHT appearing as guest vocalists.
In 2018, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra made headlines when they rearranged “Musekinin Hero,” and now, for the album, they have once again rearranged SUPER EIGHT’s “Omoidama,” which marks exactly 10 years since its single release.
Now, this song has become a regular cheer song for high school baseball all over Japan, and is also a song for people who work hard “towards their dreams.” This collaboration adds a touch of Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra flavor to the song. I’m already excited about the chemical reaction that will occur.
The second bonus track is SUPER EIGHT’s live staple “Cho Katsute ni Shiagare,” which was also performed on TV in their first performance since changing their name.
The new chant, “S・U・P・E・R! SUPER! E・I・G・H・T!”, makes your heart pound, and the song has once again become an indispensable part of SUPER EIGHT’s live performances.
