BTS RM releases first concept photo for 2nd solo album “Right Place, Wrong Person”

RM of BTS has released the first concept photo of his second solo album “Right Place, Wrong Person” through BTS’ official SNS.

This photo does not capture his gorgeous appearance on stage, but the “human Kim Namjoon” who feels free in his daily life.

The first concept photo for the new album was created in collaboration with Hong Kong photographer Wing Shya. Wing Hsia is a famous photographer who was in charge of the poster photos for director Wong Kar-wai’s film “Buenos Aires.” This collaboration came about after doing a magazine shoot with RM in 2023.

Win Hsia interprets the meaning of “Right Place, Wrong Person” in his unique way and expresses it through photographs. In order to maximize RM’s sensuous atmosphere, Win Hsia used unique lighting and contrast to capture him in a unique composition. RM is in a space that looks a little small, but she looks straight ahead and shows off her deep gaze, giving off a model-like aura even without a single flashy accessory.

RM’s 2nd solo album “Right Place, Wrong Person” will be released on May 24th at 1pm. The album includes a total of 11 songs that deal with universal emotions that everyone has felt at least once in their lives, like being a “foreigner who doesn’t fit in the place.” RM participated in writing the lyrics for all songs on the album, demonstrating his ability as a solo artist.
