Masaki Suda releases music video for his new song “Kujira”! “The space itself was just like the whale I dreamed of”

■”Kujira” is Fuji TV’s 2024 athlete support song for the Olympic Games!

Masaki Suda has released the music video for “Kujira,” Fuji TV’s 2024 athlete support song for the Rio Olympics.

The music video was produced by Motherfacko, an up-and-coming video artist. Tatsuya Maki (Vo/Gu) of go!go!vanillas, who provided the song, also participated in the video. The impressive scene where Suda, dressed in a costume that matches the worldview of “Kujira,” and Taihei (Dr), Atsushi Inoue (Key) of showmore, and Shunsuke Ochi (Ba), who worked with Maki on the song, play in a circle in an abandoned blue pool is also worth noting.

Both the song and the video will show a new side of musician Masaki Suda. “Kujira” will also be included in his third album “SPIN” to be released on July 3rd.

■ Comment from Masaki Suda
The director Motherfuck-san’s sense of color is pleasant, and the costumes, hair and makeup that go with it are also comfortable, and the good mood of the members who produced the song is expressed as it is, and the space itself is the whale I dreamed of. Please look forward to the “Kujira” MV.

■Comment from Motherfucko (MV director)
When I listened to the song, I felt a duality of loneliness and freedom.
I tried to create this duality by composing a solo shot of Suda in his room and a shot of him singing outside with his band members.
I hope you enjoy it!
