“THE MUSIC DAY 2024” will be broadcast live on the Nippon Television Network from 3:00 p.m. to 10:54 p.m. on July 6th.

“THE SUMMER! THE LIVE! THE MUSIC DAY!”

A large-scale live special program lasting 8 hours, featuring over 60 artists, scorching hot at the beginning of summer. The theme for 2024 is[Surprise]. Sho Sakurai will be the general host.

A special conversation between YOASOBI and Billie Eilish, the world-famous singer who won five Grammy Awards at the age of 18 and became the youngest person in history to win the four major awards, has been realized. What do these two world-famous Japanese and American artists have in common before they made their debut?

■A lineup of amazing artists gathers for the first ever rap medley project on “THE MUSIC DAY”!
Information has been released about the rap medley project, which will be held for the first time on “THE MUSIC DAY,” now in its 12th year!

The five members of a group that is leading the Japanese music industry will perform a smash hit song that features speedy rap!

◇ELLY, Tanaka Juri, and RYOKI (in alphabetical order) will perform Emnem’s “Lose Yourself.”
◇NiziU’s MAYUKA and RIMA performed Bruno Mars’ classic song “Finesse (Remix) Feat. Cardi B.”
◇ELLY, Tanaka Juri, MAYUKA, RIMA and RYOKI (in alphabetical order) performed “Pump It” by The Black Eyed Peas.
