Neguse and ABC TV have teamed up to release a special collaboration music video for “Zutto Suki Dakara.”

“Zutto Suki Dakara” is the 2024 ABC Summer High School Baseball Cheering Song and the theme song for the Hot Fight Koshien, which will liven up the summer high school baseball season starting on August 7th. It is a medium-tempo number that sings of respect for the baseball players who are dedicated to baseball and the value of continuing to play baseball even when things get tough. Every year, ABC TV produces a promotional video that combines the cheering song with famous scenes from high school baseball, and for 2024, a special collaboration PV featuring Neguse has been completed.

In a warehouse studio in Osaka city, photos of children playing baseball and their families watching over them were set up. In front of that set, the members of Neguse were filmed performing.

Also, at Hanshin Koshien Stadium, the four members of Neguse. took to the mound for the first time. The camera captured them singing while thinking about the exciting games that will be played this summer.

Neguse’s song “Zutto Suki Dakara” is for all high school baseball players who are aiming for Koshien, as well as everyone who continues to work hard towards their goals. Be sure to check out the song filled with the members’ feelings and the famous high school baseball scenes.

Q. What were your thoughts on filming the promotional video?
Naoto (Dr): This is my second time coming to Koshien, and I once again feel how big it is. And finally, we have set foot on the grounds…! On June 13th, we were able to stand on the stage of the Budokan, which is what band members aspire to, and Koshien is the place that all baseball players aspire to. I’m very happy and proud to have been able to set foot on such a place.

Shota (Ba): Coming to Koshien Stadium made me feel even more motivated. I think the high school baseball players will make our songs even better, and it made me want to work harder.

Naoya (Guitars): I was extremely nervous because it was such a valuable and once-in-a-lifetime experience to take to the mound at Koshien Stadium with my instrument.

Ryotachi (Gu & Vo): I’m looking forward to seeing what the footage we shot today will be like. The production is very baseball-like, and I’m hoping it will have a different color than the previous Neguse.

Q. What are the highlights of the promotional video?
Shoto: All of them!

Naoya: For the final chorus, we weren’t able to bring in drums, so Naoto the drummer became like a second vocalist…that was a fresh and good thing (laughs).

Ryotachi: Naoya has his hairstyle stubbornly hidden so that his eyes are not visible, so that’s what we want you to pay attention to (laughs).
