Kiyoharu, Saito Kyoko, and others will appear on “Downtown DX” which will air on July 4th.
The July 4th broadcast was titled “Celebrity Lifestyle Survey! My Rules That I Can’t Help But Follow!” and featured celebrities with strong preferences gathering in the studio. In addition to Kiyoharu and Saito Kyoko, guests Izawa Takuji, Imada Koji, Kuroba Mario, 3ji no Heroine, Honda Marin, and Yoshikawa Ai appeared and talked about their “at home preferences,” “meal preferences,” and “love preferences.”
■Leave the house 2 minutes and 30 seconds after waking up!? The studio is astonished by Marin Honda’s personal rule!
When asked about her preferences when going out, Honda Marin said, “Ever since I was little, I make sure to leave the house in 2 minutes and 30 seconds.” She explained that she has early morning skating practice, so she changes into her practice clothes, puts her hair in a ponytail, sleeps face down, and leaves the house 2 minutes and 30 seconds after waking up. Voices of surprise were heard from the studio. Saito Kyoko was also surprised, saying, “That’s really early…” When asked about her time, Fukuda Maki of 3 o’clock Heroine said, “I’m an early bird too, but it still takes me 20 minutes. Every morning, I take a 10-minute bath at 43 degrees, then shower with cold water at 15 degrees,” and the studio got excited talking about their bathing habits.

When Hamada found out that Kiyoharu wears his shoes inside even at home, he was surprised and asked, “What is this!?” Kiyoharu explained, “When I own my house, I take my shoes off because it’s my house, but when I rent, I think it’s okay to take them off because it’s someone else’s house.” When Hamada asked, “Do you wear your shoes inside the bathroom too?” Kiyoharu confessed, “I land in my slippers on top of my shoes when I go to the bathroom,” shocking the studio. Furthermore, Kiyoharu said that he basically sleeps in his clothes, wears his shoes even when he sleeps, and revealed that he sleeps on the sofa instead of the bed.

Yoshikawa Ai prepares separate slippers, one for when she gets home and one for when she takes a bath. “I’m the complete opposite of Kiyoharu. I don’t like things from the outside getting inside,” she says with a wry smile. She also confesses that she always makes sure her friends wear washable slippers when they come over to visit. Imada nods, saying, “I totally understand that,” and passionately explains, “Really, not all comedians are the pretty ones you see on TV. There are some who wear really dirty socks. That’s why I prepare slippers for my guests, too.”

Kuroba Mario has a very unique way of eating inari sushi. When the video showed him eating the fried tofu first and then the rice, Hamada said, “What an idiot!” Kuroba responded, “I know how delicious it is to eat them together, but when you eat them separately, the rice shines like never before! I want you to try it!” Kuroba’s eyes lit up as he said, “I also mash up the hamburger steak and mix it with the rice before eating it!” 3ji no Heroin Fukuda Maki retorted, “Have you ever thought about how the part-time lady who makes the hamburger steak feels!?”

When asked about his eating habits, Izawa Takuya said, “I don’t mix anything at all. I don’t mix even mazesoba.” When Hamada asked, “Then what about bibimbap?” Izawa replied, “I don’t mix bibimbap either. I eat it vertically. First the namul part, then the meat. If I do it, it’s probably just spreading the gochujang. When I mix it, I don’t know what I’m eating. I want to understand what I’m eating with my head!” He confessed that he does mix natto, however.
When Hamada asked, “Saito-san, don’t you mix it?” Saito Kyoko replied, “I’m the complete opposite of Izawa-san. I can’t eat it unless I mix it properly. But on the other hand, I don’t mix natto. With natto, you can taste the beans better if you don’t mix it.”
■ When Ai Yoshikawa gets hungry, she bites into a whole raw green onion! Her love for green onions is incredible!
When she gets hungry, Yoshikawa Ai likes to bite into a whole green onion. Yoshikawa smiles and says, “It’s pretty normal for me, but sometimes I eat two onions.” When Hamada asks, “When did you start doing this?” Yoshikawa confesses, “I don’t remember, I was doing it without even realizing it. I really love raw green onions. The reason I started biting into them was because I didn’t want to bother cutting them. That’s why I always have a stock of green onions in the fridge!” And she says that she feels happy when her mouth smells like green onions.
■Imada Koji can only go on one night trip with his girlfriend! He is very particular. Izawa and Honda Marin can relate!
Imada Koji reveals that he can only stay one night on a trip with his girlfriend. When Hamada asks, “What’s the reason? You can only stay one night?” Imada blushes and says, “I try to show my good side. I end up acting out the part that makes the other person think I’m nice.” When Hamada asks the other guests, “Does anyone understand Imada’s opinion?” Izawa Takumi raises his hand. “I understand. To be honest, going on a trip with someone is really stressful… I haven’t been on a trip in over 10 years…” he says. Honda Marin also sympathizes and says, “Rather than a boyfriend or girlfriend, I don’t know what to do on a trip that’s more than one night, or I get bored. My younger sister, Miyu, is the type who plans everything. I’m the opposite, and I can stay in my room for a month if I just want to laze around.”
