It has been announced that the music video for “Palette,” the opening theme song for the drama “Ayaka-chan is in love with Hiroko-senpai” by singer and track maker Hashimero, will premiere at midnight on July 5th, and the song will also be available for download at the same time.

The drama “Ayaka-chan is in love with Hiroko-senpai” is a pop GL (girls’ love) drama starring Kato Shiho (Hinatazaka46) and Mori Kanna, which will start airing on the MBS Drama Special Zone from July 4th.

The opening theme song “Palette”, written and composed by Hashimero, is based on the theme of a palette, a tool used to mix paints, and depicts the feelings of trying out various colors, superimposed on the frustrating everyday life depicted in the drama “Ayaka-chan is in love with Hiroko-senpai”.

The song’s pop and rhythmic sound is accented with the memorable refrain of the lyrics “I was tested,” making it a charming song that perfectly matches the cute world view and colorful characters of this work.

The arrangement was done by MIMiNARI, known for “music projects without vocals.” The melody and lyrics by Hashimero are combined with sad-sounding keys and sharp yet consistent guitar, while also incorporating refreshing rhythms and everyday noises, creating an arrangement that is conscious of the “buzz” of intersecting hearts.

The artwork for “Palette” was done by illustrator ronoh. Look forward to the music video premiere on July 5th and the song distribution.
