TUBE and DA PUMP have released their new song “Manatsu no Jumon”

■ The second installment in the “unique collaboration” series following TUBE x GACKT

Advance distribution of the collaboration song “Manatsu no Jumon” by TUBE and DA PUMP began on July 5th.

This is the second collaboration project following the song “Sayonara no Kawari ni” with GACKT, which was released in February 2024 and attracted attention as an “unusual collaboration.” TUBE’s Maeda Nobuteru had secretly wanted to sing together with ISSA’s DA PUMP, so he made an enthusiastic offer and the collaboration became a reality.

“Manatsu no Jumon” was produced by members of TUBE and co-written by Yamamoto Sho (agehasprings Party), who is a music producer and writer, and is a fusion of Latin and dance music that creates a sound that is “all summer-like”. At the beginning of the chorus, a “jumon” that resembles the names of both the groups TUBE and DA PUMP also appears.

Combined with the catchy dance choreography by the DA PUMP members, this is a song that will shine in the middle of summer and is sure to be a hit at live performances.
