[Ano-chan]Her first photo book in 5 years, "Ano Photo Book Ano Zairyo" to be released

■The location of the photo shoot was Sado Island, Niigata Prefecture. This book contains Ano-chan’s expressions and appearances in the unique natural surroundings of Sado Island.

A photo book that looks at Ano-chan’s “now”, her first in five years, “Ano Photo Book Ano Zairoku” will be released on September 4th. Pre-orders started on July 5th.

The photography for this film was done by Kawashima Kotori, who received the Kimura Ihei Award, known as the Akutagawa Prize of the photography world, in 2015 and has a close relationship with Ano-chan both professionally and privately.

The photoshoot took place on Sado Island in Niigata Prefecture. The book captures Ano-chan’s expressions and appearances in the unique natural surroundings of Sado Island.

The location shoot took place over three days and two nights, and there were a total of 19 costumes, ranging from those that embody Ano-chan’s image to some unexpected costumes.

■That comment (excerpt from notes taken during filming)
We saw pufferfish and black porgy in a tub boat.
Five years ago, I shot fireworks with Kotori-san during a photo shoot. That was also for a photo book.
Five years have passed since then, and we finally had fireworks.
Nothing else changes, but
That day my hair caught fire.
I didn’t burn in the hood today. I’ve grown a little bit.
He played and sang “YOU & Ai Heaven” on the beach.
I sang, trying not to let the sound of the waves drown me out.
My voice was absorbed by the sound of the immense ocean and its waves.
It still gets bigger.
I felt a little happy that I could grow big.
