The cover and opening page features Nogizaka46's Nao Tomiri! "BLT SUMMER CANDY 2024" featuring seven current high school girl idols will be released

■Tomiri Nao depicts a summer spent just the two of them together, set in a mansion with a pool and by the sea in Kamakura!

“BLT SUMMER CANDY 2024” (Tokyo News Service), featuring Nogizaka46’s Nao Tomiura on the cover, will be released on July 29th.

“BLT SUMMER CANDY” is a summer youth graffiti brought to you by seven current high school girl idols.

Nao Tomi, who appears on the cover and in the opening pages, depicts her summer together with Tomi, set in a mansion with a pool and by the sea in Kamakura. In addition to her trademark innocent smile, she also shows a slightly more mature expression for the first time, and even wears an apron to resemble a girl working at a beach house, making this a gravure shot that is packed with all of Nao Tomi’s charms.

Also appearing will be Mukai Junha (Sakurazaka46), Amano Kanoe (≒JOY), Anna Aoi (The Blue Sky I Wanted to See), Kawamura Yui (AKB48), Wakaba Noa (iLiFE!), and Inoue Haruka (Morning Musume ’24).

Mukai Junha heads to Enoshima with a camera in hand to make some summer memories. After being soothed by the fish at the aquarium, she heads to the shopping district to eat her way through the streets. This gravure is full of the bittersweet summer youth and Mukai’s sparkling smile.

Amano Kanoe was photographed on a beautiful sunny day in a nostalgic inn and in a location filled with nature. Her unadorned, cute appearance was captured on camera in a simple and beautiful way.

Anna Aoi captures her innocent, playful and cute side in nostalgic situations such as school during summer vacation, on the way home, and by a river.

Yui Kawamura was photographed at a guesthouse close to the sea, during the slow pace of a scorching hot day. As this was her first time doing magazine gravure, she was a little hesitant, but her shyness from start to finish was adorable, and the gravure shots conveyed the freshness that can only be seen now, as she begins her journey as an idol.

Wakaba Noa appeared in “BLTgraduation2024 Junior High School Graduation” in March this year. This time, we caught up with her as she enters her first summer as a high school student. The theme is “A summer day when plans to go to the beach are cancelled due to rain.” She is captured on camera, gazing regretfully at the pouring rain from inside the house, and drawing pictures of the things she wanted to do at the beach, showing all sorts of expressions of joy, anger, sadness and happiness.

Haruka Inoue sentimentally expresses the sparkle of youth that only comes now in a scene reminiscent of after school and summer vacation during the last summer of high school life. Pay attention to Inoue’s refreshing smile that blows away the summer heat.
