Enjoy the summer with MAZZEL's "Seaside Story" music video! The climax features a surprise fireworks display from SKY-HI

■The things that the members mentioned in the YouTube content “#MixedSummerDays” that they wanted to do this summer are coming true one after another!

MAZZEL’s new song “Seaside Story” will be available for download from midnight on July 5th. The music video was also released at 9pm.

Produced by ☆Taku Takahashi (m-flo) and SKY-HI, this song is a chill mid-tempo track that is a departure from the R&B and hip-hop tracks they have released so far. It’s a summer song that comfortably balances an arrangement that naturally gets you pumped, exquisite sound pressure, and a sad melody, showcasing the group’s new charms.

This music video originates from “Summer Vacation Job,” a gift given by SKY-HI on the first anniversary of his debut broadcast on May 17th. In the music video, the members realize one after another the things they want to do in the summer that they mentioned in the previously released YouTube content “#MixedSummerYearsday.” They are also seen wearing yukata for the first time, and are seen having fun and frolicking in the summer scenery, such as watermelon smashing and fireworks.

And at the end, to make this summer an unforgettable memory for the members, SKY-HI, the president of their management company, BMSG Co., Ltd., surprised the members with a total of 75 fireworks. Don’t miss the members’ genuine surprise and excitement.

Images of the members enjoying their summer vacation had been released in advance on Instagram Stories, which actually served as a teaser for parts of the lyrics, costumes, melody, and choreography.

The choreographer is ASUPI. The choreography incorporates words related to the lyrics, such as the sea, waves, and boats, in parts, giving the dancer a sense of freedom in summer and the world of the song. The highlight is the refreshing, relaxed, paradise-like dance that evokes a resort-like summer vibe.

Q: Why did you choose to film the music video as a “summer vacation job”?
MAZZEL is really funny when he’s playing behind the scenes. When that sometimes comes out on stage, he’s really funny. He’s not just funny, he’s adorable, and there’s a part of him that makes him cool. (Nowadays) it’s becoming harder to lie. When you show a fun side, you have to be really having fun. As an entertainer, I want you to acquire the sense of turning work into play.
And from now on, as the stage gets bigger, to arenas, domes, stadiums… the tough times will increase. At such times, I wanted to increase the number of moments that create the “bonds” that make them who they are.
