THE ALFEE tribute album "50th Anniversary" to be released! Fuyumi Sakamoto, Takanori Nishikawa, Mamoru Miyano and others will be participating

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of THE ALFEE’s debut, a “festival” album has been announced for release.

A total of 11 groups, including “trio artists” and “THE ALFEE Friend artists,” will come together across genres and generations.

A wide variety of artists have creatively covered THE ALFEE’s many hit songs. The resulting album is a little different from the originals, and fully conveys the diversity and universal appeal of THE ALFEE’s music.

This will be THE ALFEE’s first tribute album.

Looking at the members participating in this tribute, I am convinced that THE ALFEE has begun to seriously search for a successor.
First of all, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for choosing us as candidates. However, when we narrowed down the songs we wanted to cover to 30, we realized something. Seriously, the vocal skills of the three of you are so amazing that it’s hell. There is a very high possibility that participating in this project itself will become a dark history… We probably realized this after all of us sang at our best, but it was too late. We risked everything and performed with a suicide spirit. Please pick up our souls.
