A collaboration commercial between McDonald’s Big Mac and Coca-Cola, starring Nogizaka46’s Ioki Mao and others, will begin airing on July 9th.

The Big Mac, which has been McDonald’s signature product since its creation, is a perfect match for Coca-Cola, making it the ultimate combination. To symbolize this ultimate combination, a TV commercial was created that combines a refreshing image of a smiling face with a Big Mac and the music from Coca-Cola’s legendary commercial “I feel Coke.”

The commercial features Nogizaka46 member Mao Ioki, as well as new generation actors such as Masanari Wada and Runa Nakajima. Not only the nostalgic melody but also the fresh expressions of the performers are noteworthy.

I often went to McDonald’s with friends on the way home, saying to each other, “Hey, do you want to go to McDonald’s today?” and chatting while eating fries, or sometimes even studying for tests, so I went there a lot during my student life.
Even now, I have many memories of McDonald’s, such as having takeout food and having picnics with the members of Nogizaka46. I am very surprised and happy to be able to be involved with something that is so close to me in the form of a commercial. This time I play a student, and the Big Mac of my youth was somehow heartwarming, delicious, and amazing. I hope that watching the commercial will warm your heart!

It’s no exaggeration to say that I grew up on McDonald’s. I really love it. When I was a student, I always went to McDonald’s after baseball practice. I would usually buy four hamburgers. That was me back then. I was even allowed to appear in a McDonald’s commercial.
Even though I’m now an adult, I still feel the same excitement when I hold a hamburger and put it in my mouth. The filming staff were really nice, and I had fun playing with Peace the dog. It was a genuinely happy space. Not only the scenes I appear in, but the big smiles of everyone who appears with me are so wonderful and cheer me up. Please receive one.

Ever since I was little, I used to go to McDonald’s a lot with my family and friends! Even now, on my way home from school, I order a large fries and share them with my friends, or try their new burgers! The other day, we had our school festival, and I went there more than usual during the preparation period, spending my time chatting with my friends.
In this commercial, I play a student cleaning a swimming pool, so I tried to create a bittersweet atmosphere of “youth” while remembering the fun times I spent cleaning pools in middle school. It’s a wonderful commercial that blends into each person’s special memories and everyday life! I hope we can continue to make many more memories with Big Macs together! Enjoy!
