The drama “That Child’s Child” starring Hiyori Sakurada and JO1 member Junki Kono has been a big hit on catch-up streaming! Dark clouds gather once again in the third episode

■ “That Child’s Child” free catch-up streaming, first viewing count exceeds 1.56 million! A good start, the second highest in history for a Tuesday drama slot

The third episode of the drama “Anoko no Kodomo” starring Sakurada Hiyori and JO1 member Kono Junki will be broadcast on July 9th.

This drama is based on the eponymous shojo manga by Mamoru Aoi, and is based on the theme of “high school pregnancy,” depicting a high school sophomore couple whose daily lives change drastically when the pregnancy is discovered. The free catch-up streaming of the first episode (Kantele Douga, TVer), which began after the first broadcast, exceeded 1.56 million views before the second episode aired, making it the second-best start in the history of the Tuesday drama slot after “Usokon” (July 2023 drama).

In the second episode, childhood friends and lovers Fuku (Sakurada Hiyori) and Takara (Hosoda Kaito) are relieved that they no longer have to worry about anything when, about two weeks after their failed contraception attempt, Fuku gets her period.

In episode 3, Yazawa (Kayashima Mizuki), who had noticed something strange about Fuku and was worried about him, couldn’t help but smile when she saw Fuku come to school with a bright and cheerful expression on his face. Fuku then confided in his best friend alone what had happened over the past two weeks.

In the midst of all this, Fuku is given the task of making a life plan in class, and realizes that unlike Takara, who dreams of becoming a long-distance runner and teacher in college, he has no vision for himself after graduation. However, Fuku still vaguely imagines a future with Takara, and wants to decide each and every thing together with him. Upon hearing Fuku’s thoughts, Takara…

A while later, feeling nauseous at school, Fuku visits the nurse’s office. Her period has just ended, so it doesn’t seem like menstrual cramps, and her temperature is high. However, when she explains that her last period ended after about three days, Ms. Adachi (Kikuchi Akiko) at the nurse’s office recommends that she visit a gynecologist. It is then that Fuku learns for the first time that there are cases of bleeding outside of menstruation, and she immediately searches on her smartphone. She then comes across a certain description that catches her eye, and she gasps.
