It has been decided that Miku Tanaka’s second photo book will be released on September 12, 2024, which is her 23rd birthday.

Tanaka Miku, known as the “Reiwa Gravure Venus,” will graduate from HKT48 after nearly 10 years of activity in December 2023 and begin her career as an actress.

The theme of this photo book is “Challenge to the Unknown World.”

The location was Byron Bay and Gold Coast in Australia, located in the Southern Hemisphere. Her bright smile, clear expression, and above all, her well-honed beautiful body stand out against the backdrop of the vast land and sea that she lands on for the first time after a 10-hour flight one way.

In addition, the video is full of scenes that could only be seen in this location, such as him getting excited when interacting with animals for the first time, taking on the challenge of SUP for the first time, and communicating with local children with an acoustic guitar.

Until recently, Mikurin was “everyone’s little sister,” but now she has grown up and turned 23 years old. From innocent images to more mature looks we’ve never seen before, this book is chock full of shots that represent “now” and “challenges,” and will be a guide for her future.

This is my first photobook in three years since graduating from HKT48, and my second one. I felt that my fans had been waiting for this for a long time, so I’m happy to have this great opportunity to show the new me.
In Australia, where the photoshoot took place, I was able to interact with koalas and kangaroos at the zoo, which was very relaxing, and I also remember riding the thrilling ride that was all the rage on social media. As it was the first day of shooting, I thought, “I’m going to be a big hit with this!” and “I’m going to become the new Tanaka Miku!”, so I gave it my all and tried my best to ride it (laughs). I think this photobook will make you feel like you’ve traveled to Australia with Tanaka Miku, and you’ll feel like you’re close to her!
I’m happy that I’ve grown since my first photobook and can now take a variety of shots, and I wanted to go all out, so I went for the light blue one-piece shot. I can’t show it to you yet, but I think it’s the most stimulating shot I’ve ever done and will surprise my fans. I put a lot of effort into it, so I’m excited to see how they’ll react.
In this photobook, I approached the shoot with the intention of “letting people know the current Tanaka Miku” and “trying my best,” so I would be very happy if you could feel that. I hope that as many people as possible will pick up this book and be able to convey the new Tanaka Miku to everyone!
