Sukima Switch will release their 10th original album, “A museMentally,” on July 10th. At 8 p.m. on the same day, they released the music video for the album track “Gyakuten Trigger.”
“A museMentally” is a work packed with various aspects of Sukima Switch, just like an amusement park, and foreshadows the beginning of the “Sukima Switch of the past” and “Sukima Switch of the future” that they have built up over the past 20 years.
The music video for “Gyakuten Trigger” shows various people having fun using colored powder to color each other in their own way, and even if it’s not pretty, it depicts life being colored in its own wonderful colors.
The director is Hiroshi Usui, who has previously worked on “Zenryoku Shounen” and “Guarana.” This is the first time they’ve teamed up in 11 years since “Hello Especially,” which was released on the 10th anniversary of their debut.
