Aqua Timez was a five-member rock band that debuted on August 24, 2005 and released numerous hit songs such as “Life-Size Love Song,” “On the Morning of Determination,” “Beyond a Thousand Nights,” and “Niji (Rainbow)” before sadly disbanding at the end of 2018.
After disbanding, the members went their separate ways, but announced that they would reunite on August 24, 2025, the 20th anniversary of their debut.
A comment was sent out by “all of Aqua Timez” regarding the announcement. According to the comment, the group will celebrate their 20th anniversary by releasing new songs and performing live, but will once again end their activities at the end of 2025.
The specific items announced this time are as follows:
◇Fan club “teamAQUA” reopened
◇The teamAQUA members-only live show “The FANtastic Live Re:loaded” will be held on Spotify O-EAST on August 2, 2024.
◇Appearing at the 2024 Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival, a charity event for the Great East Japan Earthquake and Kyushu Disaster Recovery, to be held on August 10th.
◇20th anniversary live concert to be held in August 2025
