Hiromitsu Kitayama & Saki Aibu appear in 2-hour special "Yagi to Daigo"! Full of rare scenes including driving a light truck and cleaning up poop

Hiromitsu Kitayama and Saki Aibu will appear on the 2-hour special of the goat-themed travel show “Yagi to Daigo,” which will be broadcast on TV Tokyo from 13:55 on July 15. Comments have arrived from the two guests.

Even though it has returned as a special program, the content remains the same as when it was a regular program. The main character, a goat, and Chidori’s Daigo just walk around a rural town eating weeds. Of course, when the goat’s stomach is full, the location shoot ends, making it a super laid-back show.

The setting for this weed-munching journey is Hokota City, Ibaraki Prefecture, an agricultural town that ranks number one in the nation for melon production.

Guests Hiromitsu Kitayama and Saki Aibu will be doing everything from driving a light truck to cleaning up poop. It’s a parade of rarely seen poses. They’ll also talk about their backgrounds and raising children, and there will be precious stories that come out of the relaxed atmosphere.

On the weed trip, we pick perfectly ripe melons with excellent sweetness, and enjoy “shijimi ramen” made with the exquisite dashi from Hakone, one of the three major shijimi producing areas in Japan. For some reason, we encounter a pitch black hot spring, and Daigo dives into the sea and gets soaked!

Will the goats be able to achieve their original purpose of eating the weeds, cleaning up the town, and getting their fill?

Wow, it was my first time to spend so much time with a goat (laughs). I started to feel a little attached to him. When we went for a walk together, he started walking around freely, and I thought, “Ah… Popo is alive too.” (To sum up the show in one sentence) Cleaning the toilet is important. For Popo! (laughs)

Popo was bigger than I thought and a little intimidating, but he was calm and cute. The highlights were Daigo’s relaxed conversation and Popo’s carefree attitude.
