Ai Otsuka makes her first appearance on the YouTube channel “THE FIRST TAKE” performing her hit song “Planetarium” (premiere released on July 12th at 10pm).
“Planetarium” is a summer classic by Ai Otsuka, who celebrated the 20th anniversary of her major debut in September 2023, and is still beloved today.
She performed her first one-take performance, singing and playing on a grand piano, in a space decorated with flower arrangements she created herself.

The first time I performed “THE FIRST TAKE,” I was so nervous I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my mouth, but I sang it with gratitude to all of you who love the song and to the 20 years since my debut.
