NiziU starts distribution of original content "NiziU "촌캉스 (Chonkansu)"! MV for 1st EP title song "RISE UP" also released

NiziU has released a new series of original content, “NiziU “촌캉스 (Chonkansu),” on their official YouTube channel.

NiziU regularly posts original content on their official YouTube channel, and in the past they have released content that involves active movement, such as “NiziU’s ARCADE” and “NiziU RACE,” which have attracted a lot of attention.

“촌캉스 (Chongkangsu)” is a coined word that combines the Korean words “village (촌: pronounced ‘chon’)” and “vacation.” It means going to a rural village and enjoying life surrounded by nature, and is commonly used in Korea.

In recent years, content that allows viewers to enjoy leisure time on holidays, such as “hocance,” has become a trend in Korea. Not only on YouTube, but also on terrestrial TV variety shows, similar content has been quietly gaining popularity, with viewers leaving the chaotic Seoul and enjoying their leisure time in Boryeong, Korea.

The new series “NiziU “촌캉스 (Chonkansu)”” will consist of 8 episodes. It will be released on NiziU’s official YouTube channel every Friday at 8pm from July 12th.

In the first episode, which has just been released, the members cook rice in the garden, go to the local market, and walk their energetic large dog in order to accomplish their assigned missions. From the second episode onwards, you can enjoy the relaxed side of the girls that you can’t see on stage.
