Yuri’s new song “Curtain Call” will be the opening theme for the second season of the seventh season of the TV anime “My Hero Academia”

Yuri’s new song “Curtain Call” has been chosen as the opening theme for the second cour of the seventh season of the TV anime “My Hero Academia,” which will begin airing on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV on July 13th.

“Curtain Call,” written specifically for the anime, is an upbeat rock tune that sings of the hope that a hero and a villain, whose respective problems and answers clash, may have started out with the same emotions but chose different paths, and that in a different world they might have been able to understand each other.

“Curtain Call” will be available for download from July 19th. Pre-orders will begin on iTunes from July 13th. In addition to pre-ordering “Curtain Call” on iTunes, a campaign will be held in which 50 people who apply within the period will be chosen at random to receive a postcard with Yuri’s artist photo autographed.

The hero and villain each have their own problems and come up with their own solutions, which leads to a clash between their respective sense of truth.
Maybe we started out with the same emotions, but just chose different paths, and maybe one day in a different world we could have understood each other.
The song “Curtain Call” expresses that hope.
“This song is the opening theme for the second cour of the seventh season of the TV anime “My Hero Academia” which is reaching its climax, and I hope that many people will listen to it along with the anime.”
