Sakurazaka46’s Yui Kobayashi’s graduation concert to be made into a video

Sakurazaka46 has announced that they will release the live Blu-ray/DVD “YUI KOBAYASHI GRADUATION CONCERT” on August 28th.

Kobayashi Yui has been a central member of Keyakizaka46 for about eight and a half years since she began her activities as a starting member. The graduation concert will be held over two days, January 31st and February 1st, 2024, and was a moving live performance that revealed what she left behind as a member of Sakurazaka46 and the feelings she has passed on to her juniors.

This long-awaited film release comes about seven months after she left the group, and was beloved not only by her fellow members but also by her juniors.

The limited edition comes in a box and contains the entire performance from the second day, when the graduation ceremony was held. Bonus footage includes Behind the Scenes, which is a behind-the-scenes look, and songs that were only performed at the first day’s performance. The limited edition is limited in quantity, so make sure to pre-order early.

Sakurazaka46 held a concert at the Tokyo Dome in June, attracting 110,000 people over two days. Their 9th single “Jigojitoku”, released in the same month, also charted in various charts, and the group’s momentum is only accelerating. With many summer festivals and their own live shows coming up, it’s hard to take your eyes off them this summer.
