Timelesz Project is now in the midst of auditions to recruit new members! "I want to face the challenge with sincerity" (Fuma Kikuchi)

■Video footage of the timelesz members taking on the first round of auditions, and the second round where they will face audition participants directly for the first time, will be released at noon on July 16th!

On April 1st, the group changed its name from Sexy Zone to Timelesz (Sato Shori, Kikuchi Fuma, and Matsushima So), and simultaneously announced that they would be holding auditions to recruit new members.

The application period, which began on May 1st and lasted for approximately one month, saw 18,922 entries received, from which the second round of judging has now begun, with the approximately 350 applicants who passed the first round being selected.

Over the past few days, the members of Timelesz have met with around 100 candidates from various backgrounds as judges during the second round of auditions. Sato described the second round as “a tense place, with passion clashing as each person’s life depended on it.” Matsushima said, “There were many things I couldn’t understand until I met them. I’m glad I was able to meet them in person and feel their passion.”

As for the members currently active as juniors, as they have a track record of activity, they will not participate in the first half of the auditions, but are scheduled to join later.

Regarding this project, which will continue until early 2025, Kikuchi said, “The candidates and we ourselves have many conflicts and feelings. We want to approach this project with determination and responsibility so that we will have no regrets, and with sincerity towards those who support us.”

After this, multiple second rounds of auditions will be held, followed by various other auditions, and the new members are expected to be selected in early 2025.

At noon on July 16th, videos of the timelesz members’ first round of auditions, as well as their impressions of the second round, where they will face the audition participants directly for the first time, will be released on the timelesz official YouTube channel.
