Saito Kyoko's first solo personality special program since graduating from Hinatazaka46 has been announced! "I hope I can talk a lot about my favorite Showa era pop songs"

■’Saito Kyoko’s The Best 10′ will be aired on Nippon Cultural Broadcasting from 9pm on August 9th!

The special program “Saito Kyoko’s The Best 10,” hosted by Saito Kyoko, will be broadcast on Nippon Cultural Broadcasting from 9:00 p.m. on August 9th.

It will be the first time in about half a year that Saito will be the sole radio personality on Nippon Cultural Broadcasting since the special program “Connecting Love! Hinatazaka46 Saito Kyoko’s Dear Nakamori Akina” aired on February 2, 2024. It will also be her first time as a sole radio personality since graduating from Hinatazaka46. The special program aired in February was well received by listeners and caused a great response. In addition, her passionate talk about “Akina Nakamori” and “Showa era pop music” was the deciding factor in the decision to appear on this special program.

This time, the music program will deliver 10 songs selected by Saito, who is a huge fan of pop music. Saito himself will choose the songs, and in addition to talking about the reasons for his selection and his feelings about the songs, he will also deliver all of his thoughts about the songs that he was unable to talk about in the previous special program.

The program is also currently accepting “messages to Saito Kyoko” via email from listeners.

We are extremely honored to be able to broadcast another special program like this, following on from the last time.
Last time, it was my first time as a solo personality so there were some things I was unfamiliar with, but this time I hope to be able to talk in a more relaxed and carefree manner about my favorite Showa-era pop songs.
Although they were made before I was born, I love pop songs that are different from those of today and give you a full sense of that era.
I would be happy if we could spend a fun time together, based on these pop songs.
